Novel format? Script format? Audio format? Video format?! Which one of these is best for you to
use!? I say work in the one you feel the most comfortable working with.
Most virtual series are done in either script or novel format.
Audio is uncommon but there are a number of series that use it. The only draw back to a audio
based series is unlike a text based series. Audio based ones have to have good voice actors and
actresses, sound effects, music, some one that can combine them all together in good order.
To what I've noticed video format is the most rare. And just like audio based ones where you need
actors and actresses, sound effects, music, some one that can combine them all together in good
order. You also need to have a website with lots of space in it's FTP. This factor of website
space will mainly be based off how many episodes do you plan on having in your series and how
long will each episode be.
Another factor in making a virtual series that should be taken into mind with text based series
is bringing on others into your project that know how to do things right! Example a proof checker
to make sure your not going to be placing stories with incorrect grammar and spelling on the
internet. Also some one familiar with writing screen plays if it's a script based series and your
not familiar with that format.
If your series is going to be text based the most common ways I've noticed for presenting them
are: straight on to the website with HTML encoding in the background, PDF format, and text files
that have their own pages for each episode.
